We have a special category of membership designed for institutional investors (e.g., individuals working at family offices, pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds). Applicants must be either C-suite executives or portfolio managers at firms with at least $200 million under management.
We have an open application process. While anyone can apply, most successful applicants are referred or known by our current members. Our admissions committee is selective, and admissions decisions are made using a combination of HUMINT and algorithmic inputs. You can expect to hear an answer to your application in anywhere from a day to a month. The more information you provide in your application, the shorter the wait. Diversity matters, and we are quite serious about our non-discrimination policy.
Non-Discrimination Policy: Clade does not and shall not discriminate against applicants, members or partners on the grounds of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), ethnicity, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.
Membership is capped both in absolute number and by geography. This means, unfortunately, that not all qualified applicants are admitted. It is also possible that you will be put on our waitlist. Please know that we do accept applicants from this list and that we are continuously reviewing it. The best way to move forward from the waitlist is to have a current Clade member or two vouch for you.
